Sky have just announced a 3 year deal to show games from the Chinese Super League. Of course they will say they are including this for free in your package...so who the fuck is paying for it? Subscriptions will go up yet again to pay for something I have no interest in!

I'm interested in your live media player as well. Would you be able to have a look in your iPads settings? On the first page, if you scroll down you should see the icon with the correct name of the app next to it.

Yogib, no good to you but thought I would come back.
I downloaded the app a good couple of years ago now and can't see or match any of the apps in the store to my one.
All I can say my icon has a light blue background, then inside a white lined circle is a white chevron facing right which has been sliced three times.

I stopped having Sky long ago but I wouldn't blame them for the price of tickets, the whole blame should be put on the shoulders of player agents. they are bleeding the game dry, earning a fucking fortune for very little effort. just look at the Pogba transfer and the demands the parasite attached to him wants. they're a fucking disgrace

How are Sky to blame for the price of tickets? If anything, with the money they're paying each club this coming season, ticket prices could easily come down and it wouldn't have a massive impact.

Use your IPad. Download the livemedia player app.
Watch anything you want. Live PL 3pm Saturday games. No cost.
Apart from the cost of the ipad if you don't have one.

Kodi is obviously fantastic but it's also a loophole, sometimes unreliable and there isn't a substitute for the real thing. The original post is having a go at Sky for them showing something extra as in the Chinese league! That's when you know people are just moaning for the sake of it.

TBF you can get HD content through Kodi with only a very slight lag behind SKY. I use that when I'm abroad.

Sky Sports is brilliant and value for money. They've completely transformed how sport is shown on television, simple as that.
If someone wants to get an android box to stream a lot of content then fine, but there's nothing better than watching it on a decent telly as it's meant to be. I'll probably get an android box for certain West Ham games but there's nothing like the real thing.
I think people forget how limited sport on tv was before Sky came along. The same people then moan at paying a monthly subscription the equivalent to a decent meal out for one night. As if they're going to give away all of that premium sport for free!
